INTRODUCTION OF SCHRUM SCHRUM
Schrum Schrum is an extremely simple hand shedding game for children. Good for 2 or 4 players, each participant is trying to get rid of all their cards. Keep an eye on your opponents’ discard piles because you are able to add cards to them as well.
THE CARDS & THE DEAL
To determine the first dealer, each player should take a card from the deck. The player with the lowest card deals. The dealer should shuffle the cards thoroughly and deal out the entire deck evenly. Players do not look at the cards they were dealt. Instead, those cards form a draw pile that the player controls.
The player on the left side of the dealer goes first.
To begin, a player flips the top card of their draw pile over. If it is an Ace, it is played to the center of the table to begin the stack. From then on, cards can be played to the stack in ascending order regardless of suit until a King is reached. Every time a player can add to the stack, they turn over the next card from their draw pile.
Once a King is reached, an Ace must be played to start a new run.
If a player cannot play the top card from their draw pile, it is discarded to that player’s discard pile.
Cards that match in rank can be played on an opponent’s discard pile.
Once a player’s draw pile runs out of the cards, flip over the discard pile and use it as the draw pile. Do not shuffle the cards.
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game.
